What are your holiday plans?
I am doing a Christmas Eve gathering this year. I am keeping it simple with hot and cold appetizers and desserts since guests will be stopping by throughout the evening and I can refresh platters easily. I shared this link 60 Holiday Appetizers Perfect for Jingling & Mingling in my newsletter recently. It has some tasty looking appetizers. I am going to make a few this week to make sure they will work for me. I am looking forward to tasting the Bacon Wrapped Sweet Potato Bites. For desserts, I am taking a look at 85 Best Christmas Desserts To Get you Into the Sweet Holiday Spirit at The Pioneer Woman’s website. Christmas music in the background and a cup of tea or glass of wine (depending on the time of day) in hand and I am ready to tackle the busy week before Christmas.
If you’re looking for a gift for a book lover check out Gifts For Book Lovers That Aren’t Books at the Perpetual Page-Turner website. She offers some good ideas.
After the busy week, I am taking a few days off to read, finish some knitting projects, and relax before I return to a busy writing schedule in the new year.
Before I forget, The Fierce Highlander is now available in paperback.
Whatever holiday you celebrate, wishing you a merry & bright one!
Holiday Hugs!
