I don’t think the weather knows what it has been doing lately. One day it’s warmer than usual for winter then the next thing you know it’s winter weather. The last two days have been winter weather, cold and rainy, here in south Jersey and snow in northern New Jersey. So with the cold came my desire for soup and cornbread, but being busy writing I needed a quick soup recipe and you can usually whip cornbread up fairly fast, though I wanted something a bit different.
I came across 51 Delicious Soup Recipes Ready In 30 Minutes and 16 Crave-Worthy Cornbread Recipes and thought I’d share them with you. I can’t make up my mind of which soup and cornbread recipes I want to try first, but it will probably depend on what ingredients I have in my pantry. I am so looking forward to supper!
But before then it’s writing time! I’m working on The Legendary Highlander and Varrick & Fia are keeping me on my toes. There is lots going on with them as they come to know each other and make discoveries not only about each other but themselves as well. Then there is the myth that haunts the area… does the mighty warrior command an army of the dead or does evil lurk about? Can’t wait for you to read their story. Hoping to get it to you by late April.
It’s back to my writing and looking forward to hot soup and cornbread tonight.
Hugs
Donna
