Suffering from wounds sustained while searching for Carissa, Ronan takes refuge in the village Black. However, impatience keeps him from remaining until he is fully healed and so he takes his leave, knowing he is that much closer to having his revenge.

It’s time for Ronan to go off on his own. Time for his true journey to begin. Time to bring him that much closer to home. But will his need, his hunger for revenge, keep him from returning to those he loves? Will he ever find peace n his heart? Will he truly ever be able to go home again?
