Website Fixed & Ronan Celebration!

My website is back up again, all tech issues fixed (fingers crossed)! Look for for a month long celebration leading up to the release of Ronan’s book starting tomorrow. When, if all goes well, I’ll be posting the first page of Ronan’s graphic novel. And telling you all about the delays and how I never thought we’d make it to this point! But thanks to many wonderful people we have. And I’ll also be letting you know about Ronan’s contest which has been extended due to the unexpected problems.

Stayed tuned and hear all about Ronan’s return home!

Happy Thanksgiving

Busy baking pies and getting the cookie dough ready for my grandson to cut out and decorate. Also working on my extraordinary spinach dip and my memorable stuffed mushrooms and Granny’s stuffing. But Thanksgiving isn’t only a day of eating until you’re as stuffed as the turkey or watching endless football games (though many will argue that). It’s a day to be thankful and I am very thankful for my family and the love we share and for long-time friends far and near and for all the readers out there who write and share their love of reading with me. Thank you all. And feel free to share with me and others what you’re grateful for this Thanksgiving!

Just to let everyone know things are finally being worked out with Ronan’s contest and I’ll be posting about the changes to it right after Thanksgiving.

Busy With The Warrior King Series!

The Sinclare brothers continue to remain foremost in my mind. Ronan’s return has been a long time coming.  And his book Highlander’s Forbidden Bride holds a special place in my heart.

However the four Highlanders from the Warrior King series are persistent. They want their stories told. They are warriors intent on their mission – to see the true king of Scotland claim the throne. They are committed and determined, but then so is love. Not one of the four Highlanders plan on falling in love, but love has its own agenda.

In the New Year I’ll be introducing you to the MacAlpin clan. Four warriors who were raised as brothers and who harbor a secret. One of them is the true king of Scotland. Who of the four will step forward and claim the title? And who is the woman who will be strong enough to win his love?

As for Ronan Sinclare, he’s headed home, but he has an important matter to see to first. He intends to find the woman who has caused him so much pain and heartache and see her suffer for her crimes. Only then can he truly return home.

Remember Highlander’s Forbidden Bride will be in stores Dec. 29, 2009. (Got the date right this time!)

Book Lovers Day

Tomorrow, November 7th is Book Lovers Day. It’s a day to celebrate books!

Books have been steady and faithful friends to me. When I’m lonely I pick one up and suddenly I’m surrounded by a menagerie of characters that soon become friends. In times of illness I reach for a book and in no time I’m feeling better. If sleep eludes me, I reach for the basket of books by my bed and snatch one up. If stuck waiting someplace, I reach in my purse and grab a book (I always have one with me) and I’m not so impatient anymore. Many a rainy or snowy day I hunker under a blanket, have a cup of tea at my side and spend hours reading. Then there are times that my mind is so cluttered nothing makes sense. The only thing that helps me clear it, is to read a good book.

So if you’re a book lover like me then join me in celebrating Book Lovers Day. Visit a bookstore or library. Read to a child or a shut-in. Gift family or friends with books. Donate books to schools, libraries in need or convalescent centers. Have a book swap. Or simply sit and read a book.

Books open and touch the most important part of us… our imagination! Open your imagination tomorrow and celebrate!

Happy Book Lovers Day!
